I always work from BOTH a hard copy and an electronic copy of your work. Errors can often be missed when staring at a computer screen, so I prefer to do my editing from a hard copy, but I will enter all corrections into an electronic copy, which is what I will return to you.

I prefer all documents be submitted in Microsoft Word, but I can work with other file formats if necessary. I will return all changes to you electronically, using the track changes feature to show my changes and comments.

Submission process:

1.  Once the customer's project has been accepted by Carbon Copy Editing, customer submits an electronic copy of the document/manuscript to

2.  I will acknowledge receipt of the document via e-mail within 48 hours, and I will provide the cost for completing your work based on the previously detailed rates. Click here for my services and rates.

3. Once a deposit has been received (half the total quoted fee), I will begin work on the project. Receipt of the deposit will be acknowledged via e-mail within 48 hours.

Note: I accept all major credit cards through PayPal. I also accept money orders and personal checks drawn on a U.S. bank.

4. After revisions/corrections have been completed, an electronic copy of your document will be returned to you via e-mail.

5. The customer, after reviewing the document, remits the final payment within five business days.
